Renovation work post Brexit

Options
We've recently sold our home thankfully for a decent amount. We have about £80K to completely renovate a fab property in an excellent location. Looking for advice on how the building trade is likely to be affected by leaving the EU. We can stay in temp accommodation whilst work gets done so technically no Covid related concerns.
Would you advice a wait and watch approach or go for it?

I doubt it will make much difference to trade pricing. If you have purchased this fab property(?), I would suggest you get competitive quotations from reputable contractors, then complete renovations so you can move in asap.

PS: In my experience renovations always costs more than your budget.
