Distance ECDL, any advice please?

I was made redundant at the end of October and am currently looking for a new job. Our local hospital has lots of admin/ appointments clerk jobs available which are right up my street but the problem is my computer skills are all self taught and the NHS require ECDL or similar . I have been looking at a company called ECDLUK online however they say that they provide a certificate of completion on finishing the modules and completing online tests. Is this sufficient for NHS positions as in non- Covid times you would be completing exams? Does anyone have any experience of this company, they say that the NHS are one of their clients? Or can anybody point me in the direction of a provider who will satisfy the NHS requirements? Thanks in advance.

Most NHS jobs say ECDL or equivalent so if you wanted to do a level 2 IT course that would be sufficient.

I haven't looked at the website you mention but used to teach and mark and moderate ECDL papers.

If they write about "completing modules" that could simply be working through their teaching materials and a certificate would be like simply saying you attended but not your level of achievement.
If they write about certifying "online tests" you need to know whether these are their own tests (like practice material) or actual ECDL tests which lead to achievement of the actual qualification.
