I've seen a lot of stuff on https://www.hotukdeals.com/ but I'm not sure whether to try something - does anyone have any experience?

The voting system is a little silly, but it does tend to weed out the rubbish.1 -

It seems to me that HUKD is a shadow of its former self.
Many deals are now posted by 'deal editors' or 'Pepper Program Experts' on behalf of HUKD 'Partners'.
A clear eaxample is the multitude of deals for Yankee Bundles, a company that retails wholesalers' remaindered items with short use-by dates.
These partner companies are just using HUKD as a marketing opportunity, something that was once frowned on.
As mentioned above, the heat ratings are now a farce. You get the sheep effect with a negative comment drawing a whole flood of cold votes. Of course, this can be attributed to the calibre of voters not HUKD, but HUKD perpetrates the system which is clearly not fit for purpose.
Whether you're a fan or not, it's clear that not everything on HUKD can be taken at face value. Caveat emptor!1 -
Probably the best place getting notified/finding deals.
As said a lot of sponsored deals in the system, you get an idea pretty quick.
Can be a bit tedious but worth a regular scan.
I don't check vouchers or free stuff that often.
You can bookmark or filter broad categories if looking for something particular or want to check out a store.
I check out homebase and my local supermarkets regularly.
You can set up alerts for things you might be interested in.
I rarely use MSE deals pages now.
For holidays holiday pirates is worth a look.
Always back up with other tools like camel for any amazon deals.

I only really use it for looking up supermarket offers. Like the poster above said, can set alerts so if there's something you want you don't have to keep checking.0
