A: 21/12 Ecclesiastical (enter once - nominate a charity to win £1000)
The specialist insurer will be giving 120 different charities an early Christmas gift of a £1,000 donation, with 10 winners announced each weekday from 7 to 22 December.
Ecclesiastical is inviting people to nominate a registered charity close to their hearts to benefit from this festive financial boost.
It’s quick and easy to nominate a charity online. Nominations are open from 9 November to 21 December and you can vote for your favourite charity at www.movementforgood.com/12days
The draw is open to UK, Irish, Channel Islands and Isle of Man registered charities, not-for-profit organisations and community interest companies. We will draw 10 winners at random each weekday and nominations will remain open until midnight the day before each draw. Draws will take place each weekday from 7 – 22 December 2020.

This is one entry only and is, therefore, not an Advent competition.
"This prize draw is open to anyone who submits an Application. All Entrants must be 18 or over. Only one entry per person is permitted across all 12 draws. Any subsequent entries by an individual, even if for a different charity will be void"
"Entry into the prize draw is acceptance of these terms and conditions. The closing date and time for submitting an Application for each draw is 12.00 midnight the day before each draw, with draws taking place each weekday from Monday 7th December until Tuesday 22nd December. Valid applications submitted after 12.00 midnight will be entered into the next available draw. The Promoter will accept no responsibility for incomplete or un-submitted entries. Illegible entries or entries submitted after 12.00 midnight on Monday 21st December will be void and not accepted"Bob2 -
Technically I agree with you...But if I listed it as a 'normal' comp ending 21st Dec, end date compers might only enter it on the 21st and only have one draw where their entry was included, whereas as an advent if they notice it and enter it earlier their entry will be included in ten draws. If I put an end date of 6th Dec to avoid end date compers missing out, it would be marked as Game Over which would be a bit daft when you can still enter on any day up to the 21st.1

How would you post it if it was now June and the draws were on 7th to 21st July?
If you did have an end date of 7th December and everyone had entered by then, surely the next 14 days would be irrelevant? Everyone would be in all the draws, which is the important thing. An end date too soon is better that an end date too late.

Honest answer: I'm not sure; generally I only see these type of comps around Christmas time and putting them as an enter once advent usually means everyone gets a crack at it. (Not saying they don't ever occur at other times of year, just that I don't always comp all-year round to see them and I'm sure there must be more of them at Xmas). I think I listed it as an enter once advent last year and that was okay, but I can't find the old post now. (Also as the board seems busier with people at Advents time, I was trying to head off anybody accidentally duping it during Dec if the comp had gone to Game Over on the 7th.)
EDIT: it was listed (as an advent) last year, but by bluesooz not me..thank you bluesooz! Don't know why I thought I did, mind's starting to go obviously

Thanks for the honest reply but I still don't see that putting it as an Advent "means everyone gets a crack at it." any more than putting it as an ordinary comp ending on the 7th, even more so now that there is an Advent Board. There are people who stay well clear of the Advents and won't be looking at the Advents board (where this thread may well get transferred to if it is accepted as an Advent) whereas everyone should be able to see it here on the main board with the earlier end date.
Difficult to see what is right/best. Not up to me either way but at least the question is "out there"Bob1
