WANTED: PS3 60gb !! Any Availability???

Does anyone know where I can get a PS3 60gb as a package or on it's own?

A couple of weeks ago I resisted buying one and now cant find one for long nor money.
Some days you're the bird......and some days you're the statue :cool:

    Lakes (branches mainly in the South) have the package of PS3 60gb with a choice of 2 games for £349.

    I heard a few weeks ago that the 60's are beiing discontinued so that sony can push the 40's. A friend in the business and my local sony shop confirmed this. When the remaining stocks have been sold, that is the last. I bought mine on the strength of this info.

    The only backwards compatible machines will be the 80 and 120's that will be released next year.

    thats what happens when you leave things to the last minute, my local tesco have some, my local game has wii's and my local asda has pink nintendo ds's, what did i say has ? i meant had, i bought them all.

    You could buy a 40GB PS3 and stick a 250GB+ HDD in it without voiding the warranty, you just have to make sure the HDD you buy will fit :P There are videos/guides available.

    I got one via one of the codes for my son, though not the best one advertised here, but still a good buy, from Littlewoods Direct, have you looked there. I saw some two weeks ago in Makro.
