Organic Plain Flour (Marriage's Brand)

Hi there!
I'm not sure if this is the right forum to ask but I hope someone can answer please.
I bought plain white flour. Brand is Marriage's. When I was making Tangzhong mixture (milk roux), it had a strange smell. Then the bread had a somewhat weird taste like chemical or grassy or small insect. I knoew the flour is not expired as I just bought it and the dough turned out perfect after kneading. It's just the smell and taste. Is organic like that?
Thank you.

I had some of their flour during first lockdown as it was the only thing I could get. I don't normally buy organic. I didn't notice anything different about the smell or taste.
