Vida mortgage

Does anyone have any success story’s from Vida homeloans, I’m currently waiting to hear on an application that was submitted almost a month ago, in the meantime I’ve been reading reviews and I’m starting to get very worried about if I will even get my mortgage accepted. To make matters worse I’ve reserved a new build property that is Almost complete so I’m worried about losing that property due to having time wait so long for Vida to make a decision

I wouldn't worry about the reviews. People only tend to write a review when they're not happy.

We received our offer from Vida today. Hopefully the timeline below helps someone who was in a similar situation to me, worried about the, will it go through, why haven't we heard anything ect.
- 18th September, application submitted and fee paid
- 24th September, sent an additional month statement
- 8th October, "Mortgage review"
- 23rd October, Survey booked in
- 4th November Survey carried out
- 4th November - Additional questions about, last three months bank statements, proof of deposit and current address, as we had moved out of our rented house and into airbnb whilst the build was being completed
- 6th November - Additional questions about some money I received for my birthday
- 9th November - Verbal offer and offer posted to our solicitor

Vida are slow at the minute, I think it was 21 days to just look at the application recently.
But as others have said, you are more likely to leave a review in anger than you are if you are happy.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
