Joint mortgage - transfer of equity

My daughter has a joint mortgage with her ex-boyfriend. To enable her to move on and buy her own flat under 'help to buy' can she transfer the equity to me and I will continue to the joint ownership and mortgage payments with her ex? (It's an amicable break-up)
