Post bankruptcy cleanup story in progress

Decided to check my credit reports a month after the discharge... Surprise surprise (not really), no one had bothered to amend the data.
Wrong default dates and accounts still showing as open/default.
Barclaycard CC, MBNA CC, Nationwide Loan
Raised a dispute on the experian and transunion in result only MBNA had some sense to correct data and mark the account balance as 0 balance, partially settled and close it with correct default and end dates.
Barclaycard and Nationwide refused to change anything and claimed that data is correct. Now I'm trying to contact them individually via email.
So far Nationwide has answered me and I hope they will be correcting data ASAP.
With Barclaycard will see if email will be enough or I will have to use snail-mail to get the result.
Hoping for a cleaner credit file next year so I can start rebuilding my creditscore...

I've just been through this process myself with a lot of accounts and companies. Many rejected the disputes via the CRA's. In the end I used raised a complaint for every account on Resolver and attached my discharge certificate. Every company got it corrected rapidly after this!0

Barclaycard were the slowest and most reluctant to update the data post my bankruptcy, but just keep on writing to them, they'll roll over in the end - not that it should take so much effort to get your data accurately recorded.0

Didn't get to contact Barclaycard and it seem that someone either got the message from Credit Agency disputes or just did their job and updated credit file.
All defaulted accounts now show as "settled" and 0 owed.
Manage to get my 1st post-bankruptcy CC to start rebuilding credit rating.
New beginnings yay!0 -
What would happen if you just wait a few years, it will sort itself out no?0

I had to keep writing to all lenders included in my BR over and over, three letters over the course of as many months was about when they actually took aciton.
All of them who took over 28 days I reported to the ICO for breach of ICO Guidelines; most of whom have written to me apologising by way of a cheque.
nPower were the worst - they repeatedly refused to accept the fact that they're obliged under ICO guidelines to mark the defaults as settled upon discharge - even when I screenshotted the ICO's website clearly stating the rules.
Eventually they did it however and offered me recompense for taking longer than they should have.
Several months later, they sold the wirtten-off debt to Lowell; which of course I immediately responded to with another formal complaint and they paid up again.
TBQH I'd have been perfectly happy without any financial recompense and quicker action from all the lenders, in line with their obligations but they don't seem to be set up like that on the whole. Ho hum.
Goood luck!0
