Had mortgage offer, will be part furloughed...what happens now

Lender is platform. They will lend me 82000, I will put a 53000 deposit for a 135000 valued flat.
I applied  Via broker while part furloughed Through July. I had to send a return to work letter stating the date of return to full time work (September) and my salary (17004 basic with 1600 a year overtime, overtime wasn’t considered) and my job security which is secure.

I returned in September full time. The mortgage was offered to me in October.
I’m now ready to exchange (I won’t just yet) but will be furloughed Again until 2nd December. I will be working for 12 hours a week during lockdown and then moving back to full time work as soon as lockdown is over on 2nd December. I will also be doing overtime. In October I got an extra 200 pounds in overtime. My job is a secure position and employer can re confirm if necessary
I work in a community centre in reception.

Is my lender likely to be sympathetic to my cause or will I have my offer withdrawn or reduced?

i will of course speak to my broker, but if anyone could give any heads up or down that would be great as the worry is crippling!

Correct me if I’m wrong but if your furloughed you’re not suppose to be working especially if there claiming money for you being furloughed?

Today I am not furloughed. Thursday I will be furloughed. It is possible to work for some hours then the furlough scheme pay 80% of the hours not worked

I’m not 100% clued up on it but this is a paragraph from the government website

“ You do not need to place all your employees on furlough and you can continue to fully furlough employees if you wish. Employees cannot undertake any work for you during time that you record them as being on furlough.”

You can work for somebody else though.

It seems there is now a flexible furlough scheme. So I could be very wrong.

    Correct, you are wrong :)
As you note, and according to HMRC,businesses will have flexibility to bring furloughed employees back to work on a part time basis or furlough them full-time.

What did your broker advise?? I’m in the same boat and I’m confused what to do. I got my offer last week and every single penny from the loan counts.
Job is car sales but owner will open for appointments only and il possibly be fully furloughed. Still not sure

She said lenders haven’t decided what to do yet, she said platform are not the most picky of lenders and that I should be ok for the time being, so long as the lockdown ends early December. I don’t need to let platform know I’m partly furloughed for now
