I have applied for a mortgage with Halifax and they have requested a employer reference with letter headed paper or stamp. My employer doesn't have either of these. I am a carer and my employer recieved money front be governorment and I am employed by him and paid directly.
My last 3 months pay slips had holidays in them so they said they needed more proof of income.
I don't know what to do now
