i am thinking of buying an e-bike, has anyone any recommendations or advice?

They're electric bikes (only quite a bit smarter looking than they used to be...). Kind of like a cross between a normal and motor bike....
What's their classification in the UK, Bike or motorbike? (obvious differences around licencing and insurance!)

Provided the max speed when the motor is running is 13mph (you are allowed to pedal faster) then it counts as a bicycle in the UK i.e. no registration number plate, no tax, no MoT test, no compulsory insurance, no compulsory crash hat. If it's faster than that, then it's a moped and requires all of the above.0
