Can i change job's whilst on Universal Credit

So i had to go onto Universal Credit in January of this year. I managed to get one job in March but due to lockdown i eventually had my contract cut. I have just started a new job but here we go again with lockdown 2. I was kind of left in limbo with the first job and looking back i probably could of looked for another job sooner so i don't want to make the same mistake with this one if the same thing was to happen. I am still on universal credit so i was wondering whether it is ok to change a job before i have officially been let go by my employer and would universal credit mind, obviously if i was changing it would be more hours and more money than what i am getting from UC. Another factor as well is i am working in the same department store as the first job and what i didn't know is they are potentially not safe as they seem, so it may be the case of having no job early next year anyway. Probably not the best choice of work but i never knew these facts before coming back. I don't want to find myself back on UC down the line, so i am trying to decide what is the best thing to do.

Yes of course you can. You can work for ten employers if you want, and if one isn’t giving your hours or money then yes it’s wise to go to another place.
