Advanced Train Ticket refund

Brought return train ticket for Peterborough for Friday. However due to the government latest lockdown measures etc I am unable to travel. Appreciate the fact that it’s a non refundable advance ticket and under normal circumstances would fully expect to lose my money. However due to the fact I can’t go due to lockdown procedures being brought into force ie special circumstances do I have a any chance of a refund?

Tried the app with no success so what should be my next course of action or should I just accept I’ve lost me money?
