Boots Vitamin D (10 µg 90 tablets) is currently £2.30 and 3 for 2. It is also £1 if bought with Boots colds and flu, which start at 99 pence but are also 50% the second item. However, it seems to take the discount off more then once, so three Vitamin D packs (£2.30 each) and three Boots throat pastilles (99pence each) plus one Halls soother (54pence) total £10.41 but reduces to £3.45.

I also found that increasing the 99p items and adding in some cheaper cough sweets (also 50% off second item) didn't make much difference to the overall price.
