Pension for someone on Biometric card

Hi there,
really appreciate expert guidance
I know a couple who are in their pension ages. The man is already retired (71 years old) and having is pension paid and the woman (65 years old) has been house wife. This is where it gets complicated. They both have been living in the U.K. for over 30 years and had some immigration issues but only recently it has got solved and both now been given biometric cards for 10 years. The woman has never applied for national insurance number as she’s been a house wife. Now she is turning 66 in Jan 2021 and will be of retirement age. Question is, can she claim state pension noting her husband has contributed over 30 years of N.I. Or she is not eligible?
