off sick but still doing a few bits and prices for work.

was injured a couple of weeks back and drs have said i will be off work for minimum 10 weeks, possibly longer - have got a sick note for first four weeks but this will be extended, injury didn’t happen at work.
so, i’m lying here bored and check my works phone every time i receive an email etc. thing is, despite not really enjoying working, i don’t mind my job if that makes sense and am pretty highly motivated, so am involved in a number of different projects above my normal duties.
i would imagine over the next ten weeks i would have to do at least one telephone meeting a week, for about an hour each time, quite happy to do these.
my question is, how does ‘working’ albeit just for an hour on these days tally with me being off ‘sick’? should those days not be counted as a sick day or is it reasonable for me to do some work from home if i am off and still being paid?
it isn’t a big issue for me, i’m just kind of interested as to how it will be viewed.

Does your Fit Note specify that you may be fit for some work?
Are your telephone meetings compatible with your reciverýlk
You aren't entitled to SSP for any day on which you do some work. How your employer deals with the part days is probably discretionary.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
my fit note says no work, the injury is physical and am bored so would like to take part, am on full pay not ssp - as i said it’s not that important, just wondering if such days should be counted as ‘sick’, don’t really want to ask work as it may seem like i am trying to get something out of it. the meetings etc are just something i do to maintain interest and i don’t bother my managers about doing them until perhaps the end of year appraisals - they relate to policy decisions made at a much higher level and i give input from the operational side, nothing nefarious, but have managed to influence lots of good changes over the years. would hate for anyone to say i couldn’t do them because i am off sick, but at the same time it is impossible for me to go to work or ‘work from home’ for quite some time. i guess i can just do them and let my bosses know retrospectively!Mortgage free!
