I have been made redundant from my main contract and voluntarily!!!! resigned from the other (both covid related). Two separate contracts one payroll provider. As I am over 55 I am being told by my LGPS provider that I MUST take my pension/money and stop the scheme. I want to keep the money in there and find another job.…

I wonder if it would be an idea to offer db employees continued membership after employment so long as they pay the full employers contributions as well. Would still probably be a good deal for the employee but the outrage when they have to stump up 30%+ of their former wage might be too much to deal with.
