Laser eye surgery recommendations

I want to have LASIK surgery and there are a number of places that do it in the Greater Manchester area where I am but I can't find many recent reviews. I'm currently considering:

OpticalExpress
VisuaLase
Has anyone had any experience of these? Also, they still seem to be operating even with Covid but has it had an impact on waiting times? How long would I expect to have to wait to get an assessment and the actual surgery?
