Coventry Building Society - valuation

Hi everyone. 

Mortgage approved subject to valuation thurs/fri last week. Had anyone had experience with Coventry recently? How long are they taking to do the valuations and get the mortgage offer out?

I haven't been told that mine was approved subject to valuation...(but my broker probably was) 

The valuation happened on Friday though. 
I've been told I'll likely hear back early this week.  So I will let you know when I get mine back! Haha

Mine was approved with them two days after the valuation, the whole process took 10 working days. However the house I was purchasing what downvalued by around £20,000 with the vendor unwilling to negotiate so all seems to have fallen through. The downvaluation is more down to the surveyor the bank used I guess than the bank themselves..

That's annoying.  I'm confident ours won't be down valued, as property has been selling for same or more. The one we have gone for is in a much better condition so we should be good.

On that note. Offer issued this morning.  Les than 48 hours after valuation.
