Thinking about a lobster at Christmas, last one I bought from a local fishmonger was well over-cooked, tasteless and expensive so I thought I'd try high street, anyone any experience, I don't care cooked or not would just like a good taste ! Many thanks.

I have had Asda, Tesco, Waitrose and Lidl and they were all very tiny and tasteless so now I order online.https://fishtoyourdoor.com/products/lobster?variant=34889743892645

Iceland sell them nearer Christmas.  They're not massive but are good for a starter

Have had small frozen Canadian lobsters from ASDA and Lidl. Generally good but one time they took so long to defrost that they were off when they did.

Just my opinion but I do find that whole cooked frozen lobsters are not v good from supermarkets, from premium through to discounters. But I have found that the raw lobster tails available are not too bad. Not that cheap and do require minimal cooking but they do the job for us.

There were some at FarmFoods today.  I am sure they were 2 for £12.50 or something like that.

Unless you can buy fresh from a fishmonger or fish market, pretty much all lobsters and other seafood will be cooked frozen stuff. Suggest Googling.
