Hi all, just a question really.
Is it known for lenders to speed up or for the client to escalate their application should the client get a letter from their solicitor sent to the lender confirming the clients could loose the property if an offer isn’t issued soon?

Lenders speed will be the lenders speed, I would call your adviser directly and ask for timescales. The solicitor is not the client of the lender so doubt they will speak to them anyway.0

You only applied on the 12th😳

Then all that would happen is that everybody would jump on the same bandwagon. Which would result in a lot of unproductive wasted time for no benefit. The mortgage offer is only the first steps in what can be an arduous process. No guarantee of plain sailing once it arrives.1
