Hi everyone - just had a catch up while I ate my lunch. I had little one to stay last night....she slept for more than 12 hours so no complaints!
Walked down to Farmfoods this morning as I needed milk and some other bits while I was using the pushchair. We were lucky as we just got home as the heavens opened. Little one did some drawing before her daddy came for at 11 - I was very impressed as she took a yellow crayon out of her box and said 'yellow.'
Did my ironing and hoovered when she'd gone so I can have a lazy few hours now.
I'm on half-term holiday now so no work next week.
Hope everyone has a good day8 -
Afternoon all. Just bobbing back to wish NAN and DH a happy anniversary (as well as happy birthday to dad of NAN) Have a lovely day. We are still awaiting the heavy rain here, so far it's just a sort of mizzle. Washing festooning the back bedroom.
It was even like Groundhog Day at the bus stop this morning with the same 3 of us old biddies waiting, with the same 3 of us on the next bus coming back up!! Just like last week, and the week before, and the week before .. ...!!! My best bargains in town were, surprisingly, from Holland and B, I wanted more Vitamin C capsules, whilst they were in the penny sale, but they also had quite a lot of reductions on food stuff approaching the sell by date. So I came out with quite a lot for not much money! Not a lot bargainous in the cheapo grocery shop so I just topped up my stock of tinned plum tomatoes and a naughty bag of Green and Blacks dark chocs, with fruit centre, jumped in my basket as well. My treat whilst watching Strictly tonight if I can resist opening them that long!
NELS we are still clinging on in Tier 2 here but it would be no surprise after the w/e to hear we will be joining you in Tier 3. Still too many people think the restrictions don't apply to them and then they are the first to moan about them when they are ramped up. x

I've got some other bits for them to do next weekend too.DH took me to Dun elm to get the bedding DS will need for all their beds, and some other things.I was looking for a lamp for us but we didn't really see one we liked that much, but I did see 1 online so will order that. I got 4 mugs for him and promptly dropped and broke one when I was showing him at home.Grr,butterfingers. I wanted to go to Hobbycraft next door for a C mas die cut to make my cards but they were queuing to get in , DH wanted the loo and Dunelms weren't open so we didn't bother. Shame as it was my first trip anywhere in weeksNan & Mr Fixit, enjoy your meal and Happy AnniversaryBye for now xx:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'.
