CCJ - Pay up or set aside

Hi, my husband received a CCJ after ignoring a PCN from CEL which had him down as the registered keeper of the vehicle. This has now been rectified with the DVLA however I’m not sure if he is still showing as the registered keeper for a few weeks (it was a mistake made by the garage). Obviously we now realise we should have contested it before it got to that stage but we just ignored it. Is this a good enough reason for a set aside - we are now being chased by CEL for payment of over £260 and I’m not sure if we should just pay up. Thanks for any advice.

Have you read the reply you received on that other thread you posted on?2

Paying a CCJ won't remove it , so if you want it removed then a set aside is the only option , if it is possible1

For set-aside help go to the NEWBIE sticky second post and read up on what is required. Also read some posts by @henrik777, he is very knowledgeable about the subject.3
