Self employed getting mortgage;

I wanted to share my friend's story as I know self employed mortgages are really hard to get:
My friend, simply gave all shares to her mother in law for 12 months before and then “applied as employed”
she put 50K as deposit and borrowed £258,746 against her income.
She is now the sole shareholder and I wanted to share for those who may be struggling.

You can also do it with the help of a broker who knows how to word your situation. Mine decided to go on last two years tax returns as an average instead of any day rates etc and found the right lender to accept that.
Was offered £206k against my income with £52k deposit. Broker also got me a great rate with a high Street lender. It's definitely worth speaking to a professional who knows your situation and what's best for you before you go off what someone else has done.Debt Free: 06/03/2020 Highest Debt: £37,5142
