26k debt help please?

Hi All
I have over £26k unsecured debt, working full time but very likely my company will go bust or is already
Been in touch with step change and then said either bankruptcy or set up a payment plan
also been trying to get in touch with my local cab for help but they have a very long waiting list
shall I wait until I know I’ve lost my job or just go bankrupt now?
if I do it now then I lose my job will I have to start again with all the paperwork?

How much do StepChange say a payment plan would be a month?
I think if you go bankrupt now and them lose your job you would lose any redundancy money - would there be any?
Will it be hard to get another job?0
