Playstation 1 - HDMI?

any of you still have PS1, if so how do you connect it to a modern TV as if I remember right it needs a SCART connector but my TV’s don’t have one.

What do you guys use instead?

Something like a Framemeister would be the way to go.  Unfortunately, they tend to be expensive and hard to find.

If you search for PS1 HDMI on eBay/Amazon etc there are adapters available

Make sure you buy the correct connector. HDMI to Scart is different to Scart to HDMI

Though any that you think are a reasonable price are an utter pile of juunk.

The cheap option it to buy a cheap old tv. Yes and LCD one is fine. Just make sure it is a 4:3 one. (Yes they did exists, yes I keep one for such purposes. 20 inch 4:3 is a resonable size).

I use my PS2 with its original composite (yellow red and white) cable.  The same type of cable should work with a PS1 (if memory serves it's the same cable for PS1, 2 and 3).  

It will look poor on a modern TV, but will be playable.
