Carry forward query

  • Carry forward wouldn't really be affected but pension contributions would be limited by your earnings in the tax year, people get very agitated on these boards about the fact these are separate.

    As above you must separate the carry forward allowance, and how much you can contribute in a tax year based on your earnings .
    Two different issues and mixing them up , as a lot of people do , causes confusion.
