Hi,
If my remortgage isn't due until 1st June 2021, can I secure this rate now or is it too early to submit an application (with payslips and valuations etc).
I was thinking it could take 4-6 weeks and that would give me an offer that would be valid for 6 months, or can the product be withdrawn etc?
I am seeing rates continually increase and want to plan early.

What is your current lender offering?
are you on a fixed deal currently which is what ends in June? When can you change current deal with no early repayment charge? Usually it’s 3 months so it would be too early now

With HSBC you do a 'rate change' it does not involve - sending in pay slips etc
I have just 'remortgaged with them by changing the term and rate - and that involved sending payslips in.
The mortgage offered lasts 6 months- so if you did it now = it would be too early (you could get the rate by changing your term - would still be a bit early)
