So I've been saving for over 3 years - basing my calculations on 10% deposits - so saved £400 a month around continuing to pay my way and incurring no debt.
I've also occasionally used my credit card to keep an active history.
Recently been let go, so taking hours where I can with an agency, however this is inconsistent so I know the banks won't touch me till I've a secured contract.
What else can I do? Any advice or guidance is appreciated.
Many thanks

Try and find steady work and be careful what you spend.
Tough times for lots of people and many suffering in the pandemic and lockdown.
