Halifax - how long for surveyor to report back to Bank?

Hi all, the Valuation for our mortgage was carried out this morning. Is the valuation sent back to Halifax the same day or does it take a couple of days? Also, will we get to see it?  We didn't upgrade to a full survey as we had already carried out our own.

Someone at eSurv told me it could be 1-2 days to report back to Halifax. However, in my case, the valuation (and Homebuyers) was done in the morning, Halifax were given the valuation and issued my offer later that day (I found this out by calling them for an update). Then it took 8 working days for my offer to arrive by post....

The valuation figure was included in the Homebuyers survey report so I don't know the procedure if they only do a valuation.

Depends on how busy the surveyor is as to when the report will be submitted.

Is it OK to ask the bank for an update when applying through a broker or do we have to go through the broker for updates?

I can answer my own question. Broker called and mortgage offer is being issued today.
