Aldermore and 118-118 loan

Hi,
we are currently in process of a mortgage application with Aldermore. We have DIP and full application was submitted.
Has anyone previously had a 118-118 loan and applied to Aldermore?
ive contacted 118-118 and Experian and both confirm this isn’t a payday loan.

Hi ya, hopefully you will be ok. Not to dishearten you, but we were declined by Aldermore on a loan we had with Mr lender. It was a 3 year non-payday loan. but they said coz the interest was over a certain percentage, they classed it as that and declined us - BUT our is still active and cant pay it off til we move. so the fact that you dont have this and its settled should be ok - dont lose hope - we all get there in the end!Looking to remortgage December 2022 onto a better rate!0
