Change solicitor after mortgage offer received?

I just received my mortgage offer, good news!
But the solicitor I use, in the mean time has moved firms to another company.
Is it a big hassle/delay to sort this out or fairly straight forward? From my research online it seems rather than amending the solicitor details the mortgage company have to issue a whole new offer. Which is just scary after having to wait so long and go through so much stress to get the offer in the first place.
Can anyone advise on approx how long it takes to get this changed and if they will go through the whole application again as the last thing I want is something as simple as solicitor change to end up being declined some how!
Thanks

Would help if you told us which lender it is, but there's no reason why it should trigger a need for a whole new application.0

Pretty stressful after waiting so long for an offer to find out that you need a new offer just to change solictors. In fact I'm not even changing solictor, just the fact that my solicitor has moved to a new company.0 -
While your solicitor has moved. Does the firm you appointed not have a conveyancing team? With another solicitor taking their place.0

I would stick with the firm, if they have started searches etc, if not then as long as the new firm is on the approved panel of Barclays then change away. It might put you back a week or 3 and you may have to pay an exit fee for the firm. Update the buyers team as well, as I cannot see any possibility of a mix up and them sending information to the old firm.0

No searches started.
No exit fee.
Lender is on panel.
Do you have an answer to my question on whether changing solicitor with the lender is straight forward as them updating it or if they will go through the whole application again and potentially cause issues with it somehow, that's all I wanted to know really.
If it's a question that nobody can answer or knows the answer to then that's fine as I appreciate it's a pretty open ended question but I thought that more experienced people may have some knowledge on this.

Some lenders contact the ceding solicitor to check this is known to them. The process is usually a simple admin alternation and the application should not face any further checks. However, as this is Barclays anything is possible.I am a mortgage broker. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. From reading up online the "anything is possible" comment applies to most if not all lenders haha
