Tiny House Living 21st Century

Never done this before but hoping I may get some help! 

So my partner and I want to buy some land, nothing drastic, and we have the means to buy a completely eco friendly tiny house. I’m talking rain water filtration system, solar panels, home biogas system and compost toilet. Veg patch on the land and a 2 bedroom tiny house. 

We want to keep our jobs, both very happy and have a good salary so don’t see why it is so hard to get land, and permission to live on it when we are literally not wanting to disrupt, abuse or upset anyone or anything. If anything we want to bring back the nature to the land, he’s a garder so loves his plants. Both vegan.

No idea the right route to take but I won’t give up! Any help is welcome!
