Receipt Apps - Include With Self-Assessment?

Hello,
I hope everyone's keeping safe & as well as possible. Just a quick question. I'm registered as self-employed. I only earn a little bit (lost my regular job due to illness and ongoing surgeries) doing writing, surveys etc. I've started using receipt apps like the old ReceiptHog app, where you scan a photo of supermarket receipts and get the odd £5 Paypal every couple of months. Does this need to go down as self-employed income to be taxed? I'm not sure if it's classed as cashback, which wouldn't be included or not. I need to provide income details for some forms I'm doing so I'm trying to get an answer as soon as possible I can't get through to anyone on online chat for HMRC, I'm getting no response on Twitter & nobody's answering the phone as they're obviously very busy. I don't suppose anyone has any ideas?
Thanks very muchly

Only HMRC can tell you for certain (and then its probably not 100% anyway).
I would argue its not because like cashback it is dependent on you making a purchase who's cost will greatly outweigh the income it generates. You are effectively liquidating an asset which is your shopping history.0
