I am normally a discount ground coffee person, but I picked up some coffee beans from Morrisons the other week and they were superb. They weren't even that expensive.
I am hoping to save a little bit of money though, while keeping on with buying coffee beans.
Does anyone know if Aldi or Lidl sell columbian coffee beans please?

Aldi - definitely. In normal stock and larger quantities on periodic special buys, which also offers a particularly good Brazilian bean.

Lidl, I’ll look the next time I’m past but from past experience, coffee is not its strongest point.

Also, keep an eye out for mark-downs at M&S, their Colombian is particularly good and short dated bags regularly appear for pennies.

I go into Morrison is for the Columbian  coffee from The Best Range - couple months back could only get beans and not ground, have to admit other than No1 range  Columbian reserve at Waitrose ( not sure about beans) Morrison is my second fav.  Third is Tesco Finest which they do in Beans that is very nice.......worst was Starbucks ground columbian - found it bitter.
Have never seen it on offer, but Waitrose sometimes do 2 for £5 on theirs.
I have never seen beans in Lidl but have had there ground.

Note that the country that produces these beans is Colombia, so the correct spelling is ColOMbian beans.
  • Usually, I buy coffee in Aldi, and in my opinion it has a very nice flavor

  • I've been purchasing Colombian coffee beans from both Aldi and Lidl for some time now.  I've been very happy with them.  They seem to be in relatively high demand as I usually have to rummage through the other beans to find the Colombian ones.  The ones on the left are Aldi's (227g) and the bag pictured on the right are Lidl's (200g).   Aldi's we're on special offer this week, so I picked up a couple extra.  I must confess I'm rather fond of Sumatran beans but they are a bit dearer.
