Micro Scalextric Supercar Showdown Set was £79.99 now £29.99

Argos have now reduced this scalextric set down to £29.99 (cat no. 387/3124). Had originally bought my son one of the big mega motors set for Xmas which were reduced down at the end of the summer. Just wondering if this set might be more user friendly as the mega motor set looks massive! Any ideas?

Reserved one of these and went to the store and the price had gone up to £39.99, checked again online when I got back and it's still showing as £29.99
Surely if they have a central database to keep track of stock levels online they'd be able to have the items priced consistently between the store and online.
