Hi all
sorry in advance if this is the wrong forum.
I have financed £900 for a new treadmill, After installing it and using it without an issue, less than 24h later, my wife hears a distinct, audible, mechanical noise and the belt misaligns and folds. After close inspection, I note the belt is ripped. This is less than a week old.

I am conversing with the manufacturer and the retailer. Retailer is passing me to the manufacturer re the warranty. The manufacturer is dilly-dallying and appears they want me to do it myself.

What rights do I have and can you suggest what I can do? I would like to keep the thing as long as its bloody working.

Thanks

As it's less than a week old your rights are with the retailer, I believe it's for the retailer to decide the option they choose whether its a repair, replacement or a refund.
