PAYE & Second Job Income!

Options
Hi,
Hope someone can advise...
I have been PAYE for many years and at my current role for the last 12/13 months - I have now recently been approached to do some part time work as an additional income.
I am also looking into getting a mortgage on a property on my own, what is the best option for me to take with regards to declaring the additional income to gain the best possible outcome.. i.e sole trader/setting up a limited company? looks like I would have to be a sole trader for a year for it to be taken into account? I'd preferably want to get it as soon as possible..
Any answers or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Tom

Hi - that would be first choice but down to the employer if they want me on the payroll - won’t know until next week.. trying to get ahead if the case is that they don’t.
    Thanks!
  • If paye most lenders will want 6 months in the new job (some are less but will look at plausibility)
If self employed most lenders will need 2 years self employment (a couple are ok with 1)
