I have just received a letter in my maiden name from Arrow Global relating to Shop Direct (Carval). I don't recall ever having an account for any of the companies that Shop Direct cover.
What letter should I send?

What is the title of the letter if you don't mind me asking?
You can check your credit report to se if they've taken any action against you. Or you can call them or the creditor asking for more information.
It is best to get in touch to either acknowledge the letter or defend the claim, this will give you more time to make a defence.
Hope this helps.0 -

To answer the OP's question, it is the prove it letter. See Debt Camel

- All land is owned. If you are not on yours, you are on someone else's
- When on someone else's be it a road, a pavement, a right of way or a property there are rules. Don't assume there are none.
- "Free parking" doesn't mean free of rules. Check the rules and if you don't like them, go elsewhere

We had a letter a good few years ago from a debt collecting company, in my first name and my wife's maiden. I could prove we moved out of the house on a specific date and that it wasn't us and they instantly stopped chasing us for a debt that wasnt ours. It was more a fishing letter. So sometimes, although many on hear wold disagree, contact them, work out if it it your debt and go from there.Proud to have dealt with our debtsStarting debt 2005 £65.7K.

Do I call or send another prove it?Have you not had a responce to the original provit letter ?Arrow can take their time, and can sometimes ignore you, best to send again via email, or on their contact form on their website, that usually gets a responce, and once the account is "on hold", resolve call, will be called off, lol.Best to deal with the organ grinder rather than the monkey.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
