Which trade Union is the best?

I work in construction, specifically telecoms and I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations in regards to which trade Union is the best?

Best by what measure? Cheapest? Most discount codes/loyalty programmes?

Usually a trade has a specific union as opposed to a pick and choose .
Union of wheeltappers and shunters probably number one  .

Historically it would have been the EEPTU which eventually became part of unite the union.

Do you know anyone else at work in a union? There can be strength in numbers.

Google union finder and it will take you through the options.

Perhaps look up where the various union offices are near you as that is where you might go if you ever need to seek help. If one is down the road while another is miles away that can influence who you join. Once armed with that info look them up online to find out if they represent workers in your industry. In terms of performance i imagine all the big unions will be quite similar. Also are there many union members  where you work? You could get ideas that way. If you ask around at work use your own judgment on how to go about it. You dont want your boss to know, especially if there is any chance of a negative reaction.

    Combination of all really
Cost wise I’ve had a look and they’re all comparable. It would be nice to have some loyalty programmes out of it but it’s not a necessity - just wondering what would you all recommend really?
I’m based in north west uk for context

No union members in the company as far as I’m aware - they usually turn to free services for advice is necessary
I’d just like to take the extra precaution

Which trade Union is the best?

None of them.  Whilst at their inception they were badly needed and did much good, even as far back as when my grandfather was working they had changed.  They ceased to be the champion of the working man and became more focused on their own political ends, as they still are today.
