Hope someone can help or advise please. I have a small pension plan that I feel has moved around a fair bit and I have lost track of it.
Can I please ask how I can find out where all of my pension money is, preferrably for as little cost as possible?
Thank you for your help

Pensions only move if you transfer them. Any change in name due to mergers and acquisitions would still leave the pension where it is. So, if you recall any of the historic trading names it was under, mention them here and one of us will tell you what the current name is.

I understand that you cannot give individual advice here, but can I ask if there are any restrictions on taking part of a private pension at 50 years old? If at all possible?
Thank you

There is a free pension tracing service: https://www.moneyadviceservice.org.uk/en/articles/trace-lost-pensions-and-request-pension-forecasts
Don't pay anyone anything to do it for you - you'll have to provide the same information to the people you are paying, so it's throwing money away.Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!1 -

If its a workplace pension, you write to the pensions department or administrator of the workplace pension. Again, cost of a stamp.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
