Due to be underpaid by work again

Hi everyone
Have been informed today I will be underpaid again this week on Thursday (for last weeks work) due to my manager not putting through my correct hours.
He is telling me again that HR will put it in the following pay next week due to the error being made after the cut off point at 10am this morning.
This happens a lot!
Does anyone know if legally I have any stand on them needing to pay me this straight away/within so many working days rather than them being ok to just say we will pay you in 2 weeks? I know other team members have had the same but have had to practically beg managers explaining they will default on bills before they will agree to make an extra payment to them outside of the "normal" wage day
Thanks,

Really - no. Enforcement of any threat you can make would take longer than any delay in payment.0

This isn't difficult to resolve, they can carry out a one-off BACS payment although at a cost to themselves.
If this is a regular occurrence raise the issue collectively and ensure your managers manager is in attendance. If the staff do nothing the situation is unlikely to change.0
