Mortgage and getting a new job

Me and my partner are in the process of buying a house, we have a MIP with Virgin and are applying for the mortgage this week. My partner has just got a new job and we are going to tell our mortgage adviser today. Does anyone know the likelihood of the house falling through due to this as we are extremely worried. Does anyone have any experience with buying a house and getting a new job at the same time, especially when applying for a mortgage with Virgin? Thanks!

Speak to your MB before you do anything, they’ll know how virgin feels about this kind of thing and if it’s not positive then they’ll know the best lender for these kind of circumstances!0
