Hi Folks,
Completely new to all this, so bear with me!!
So my GF lives with her mum and dad. They live in a council house and have lived there for years. They would qualify for the max discount.
Recently we have been discussing the possibility of me and my GF buying it. One of her parents would need to make the application with her, in order to get the max discount but neither could afford a mortgage without me.
Is there anyway for them to be on the deeds yet the mortgage to be paid by me and my GF? With some sort of declaration of trust drawn up to transfer the parents deed to me after a certain time?
Neither of us have owned a home before and this would be a great opportunity if we can figure out how to do it..

Pretty sure you wouldn't be able to do it that way. You would have to live there for 12 months to get on the right to buy.0
