Bank account with negative balance in Spain has been dormant for 13 years. Does this spell trouble?

Hi all, I studied in Spain 13 years ago and held a current account at
the time. I think my balance back then became negative at the end of my
stay, but I had to leave the country to start a job in the UK (and
changed my phone number). What is the bank likely to have done with this
account that has been dormant for 13 years, and the negative funds? I'm
planning on moving to Spain again now.. Will I be running into trouble?

The general limitation period for personal actions in Spain is now five years (Article 1964, Civil Code). Thank you for your reply, Sourcrates. Does this mean that my account is closed, the debt cancelled, and I don't have to worry about returning and joining a bank in Spain again?
