Can any kind person recommend a lender that specialises in Right to Buy mortgages where I will be able to get a DIP online with a 'soft' credit search.
I need proof of a DIP so I can apply to buy my council home.
Thank you in advance for your help

That’s strange that the council require proof of AIP before you can apply... we have just been approved our mortgage to buy our council home and we didn’t have to provide anything other than the application documents when we applied to the council.
Our mortgage is with NatWest, but they do a hard search on AIP, so definitely don’t go with them if you are wanting to avoid that. From what I could see when researching most lenders only do a soft search at AIP and the hard search comes later. But I’m no expert!
