oh also, kudos to the kind newbie who posted the Be Kind Rewind code - even though I didn't manage to get tickets, I've been looking forward to the film (its from the director of Eternal Sunshine! awesome!) and it looks pretty awesome even if the concept is a little flimsy
anyone else going, or trying to go, to it?

Ooh can I be a member of the free previews club? Is someone keeping track of numbers - don't want to double book on a taken number. Looks like we are around 9/10?

Also for Wolverine, in case you are still taking ratings for films this year (hope I'm not contradicting myself, but I think this is how I've rated them, if I posted before):

    Dan In Real Life 8/10
    Sweeney Todd 9/10
    Juno 7/10
    Definitely Maybe 5/10
    The Bucket List 6.5/10

got a long way to 104...group effort is definitely realistic. We can but try!

I had two ratings before from you: the one for the bucket list was the same, but you gave definitely maybe a 6 before - should i put down that or a 5 then? or 5.5?
    anyway cheers for the ratings!

Oh Definitely Maybe - think I'll be kind and give it a 5.5 - funny that was one I underscored. Just saw an advert for it and my sister said how rubbish it was -not to put anyone off ;-) so that must have affected me!

5.5 it is - and I'll try not to contradict myself. If I'm going to be a member of our club I have to take my scoring v seriously!

:A Actually looking back I think I was far too generous with Definitely, Maybe I gave 7/10 and I changed my mind. I think 4/10 suits my view. People can have second opinions all the time. As far as I am concerned feel free to change your mind and your score.:A

  • hurm yeah i'd like to, but an individual target of 104 films, let alone free, is so unrealistic for me! i'd have to have tickets for the cinema every three days!

I wonder if 52 would be more realistic then, bearing in mind that sometimes we get some weeks with no screenings.

    Beate, what do you think?

I saw my first free film ever during the week - can I join up too?

And I've got another one to go to this week (which hopefully I can find someone to go with.
