jillsa, what a star find with the BAFTA nominated films! I was getting all huffy while reading the list of participating cinemas as it looked like the Cineworld Wandsworth was the only one participating in London, until I got to the Shaftesbury Avenue one down the list! And I got the Telegraph today anyway for the Zizzi offer! Will download more vouchers tomorrow, I want to see Atonement and Ratatouille, I never got round to them in the first instance!

This is a great offer indeed, can't wait to see Atonement and Bourne Ultimatum. :j The voucher is now available online, on the Telegraph web page mentioned earlier on. ;)

MariaLionza, yes I felt similarly after i saw it first - i wish i hadn't read so much on it before.
I (almost reluctantly) saw it again and saw much more in it - and i agree with the critics now. I think, though, that they were wrong when they talk about (the character) Juno's witty lines - I come across the kind every day and it kind of annoys me (besides for insanely clever, yet cool, language, just watch Brick). But second time round, seeing the vulnerable Juno right from the start, I not only love the performance (please Uncle Oscar!) but i adore the character too!
So the film isn't Dan In Real Life - it's not as funny or charming - but, ironically its more real!
If there are any more free screenings, you should see it again, unless you were put off completely! lol don't be like sparky's 'hubby'!

    hahahaha! LOL:rotfl: :T

Remember the following wording: Vouchers can be exchanged for tickets for any of the performances from Feb 1. Tickets will be issued on a first-come first-served basis with only four vouchers allowed per household. So I am not dillydallying until the day I want to see a film, I am going to send the OH to the cinema tomorrow with filled-in vouchers and a list of preferred screening times for my chosen films. Now how's that for being a pro, marialionza? :)

Not sure why it's only just appeared for you, I printed it off yesterday lunchtime.

Incidentally I'd IGNORE (I think it's a misprint) the line that says.....

"Birmingham, Glasgow Renfrew Street, Shaftesbury Avenue and Sheffield cinemas are showing every film apart from Taking Liberties and The Killing of John Lennon"

This is for several reasons. (Hope I'm wrong BUT)

Unlike the following line that starts "In addition, Cambridge, Chichester .... etc. etc." where ALL of the cinemas ARE in the list of PARTICPATING cinemas named earlier, the "Birmingham, Glasgow .. etc" aren't in this list.

Secondly some of these cinemas ARE NOT "showing every film apart from ......etc." (eg Shaftesbury Ave no Ratatouille according to their cinema listings in this period)

Thirdly ....." ...and The Killing of John Lennon" - This ISN'T a BAFTA listed film to be shown !

Might be worth a phone call before making a wasted journey to a cinema where you get blank stares from Cineworld staff at both yourself and the piece of paper you're clutching.

Has anyone seen Michael Clayton before and can tell me whether it is good? I kinda like George Clooney but had never heard of this film before.

Ratatouille is not in the listing for Cineworld Wandsworth either, which is rather annoying as I was looking forward to seeing that one, but hey, can't complain, tickets are free. Will be sending the OH to Shaftesbury Avenue after lunch.

Yes it's a great film, but quite confusing. When I saw it I thought I was the only one who didn't quite know what was going on, but my film buff friends didn't know either! You have to think about it, so if you like that sort of movie, go for it!
