Me too I cried in that film and I am not homosexual but it was so real and so good I felt a lot in that film.

It's amazing how little I have put my thoughts on to the people that live outside London.
We have been pampered so much with constant give aways but I never paid much attention to anything outside this city. I hope you people get as many as we do, good luck to all of you!

Actually I have some jelousy about the ones that live in Liverpool today with all the celebration you must be having. Congrats!!!

Ah Heath Ledger - I've got to admit I never enjoyed any of his films I saw (I am still yet to see Brokeback, though), but he certainly had potential. It would appear he died at the peak of his career, with the Dark Knight publicity focusing wholly on him.
I wonder how that film will be received now - Owen Wilson's attempted suicide added a kind of resonance to Darjeeling, didn't it?
I feel really bad atm cos I'm aching to find out why he died!
Anyway I think we should spare a moment to the guy, so here's something from Empire to remember him

Heath Ledger has been reported dead today, his body found this afternoon at his New York apartment. A police spokesman has confirmed that Ledger was pronounced dead at the scene. A police statement originally said that his death was being investigated as a possible overdose, as pills were found at the scene, although a coroner's report has since proved inconclusive and requires further tests.

The Australian actor was reportedly discovered by his housekeeper when she went to inform him that his masseuse had arrived for a scheduled massage appointment.

The former Home And Away star shot to stardom in 1999 with smart teen comedy 10 Things I Hate About You. Following this with a role opposite Mel Gibson in The Patriot and his first major lead with A Knight’s Tale, Ledger proved himself a charismatic leading man. More dramatic roles followed in Monster’s Ball and The Four Feathers, with Ledger later garnering an Oscar nomination for his role as Ennis Del Mar in Ang Lee’s Brokeback Mountain.

The actor had most recently starred in I’m Not There and is due to appear later this year as The Joker in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight. He had been in the middle of shooting The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus with Terry Gilliam.

He leaves behind a two-year-old daughter, Matilda. Ledger died at the age of 28.

I'm still in shock:eek: and sad I always hoped to see him on stage. I thought he was good.

Absolutely. I can only wonder, despite the Oscar nominations announced, the public focus has overwhelmingly been on him today, but will it last? It should do, he's died when publicity for him was at its highest. Imagine if Samuel L. Jackson had died just before the release of Snakes on a Plane
